At LV Stabler Memorial Hospital, we practice a philosophy of emergency care called ER+, which helps further our goal that you will receive quality medical care as quickly and professionally as possible.Constantly on alert status, LV Stabler Memorial Hospital has an active Emergency Room and operates the only Level II Emergency Center in our county, providing 24-hour emergency care to the residents of our community. Designed to respond immediately and comprehensively to the needs of victims of severe injury, the LV Stabler Memorial Hospital Emergency Department is staffed 24 hours a day to receive patients and has general surgeons and anesthesiologists and other specialists ready in minutes.
Treating injuries ranging from minor cuts and bruises to life-threatening medical incidents, the Emergency Services at LV Stabler Memorial Hospital bring expert medical, surgical and nursing team members together to provide quick response to emergency situations. In the most severe injuries, such as those resulting from automobile accidents, the "Golden Hour" is critical - the sooner patients are treated, the better their chances for survival and successful outcome.
Countless Butler County residents would not be alive today had it not been for LV Stabler Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department's partnership with a major trauma-based facilities. When every second counts, LVSMH can safely and easily transport patients with life threatening traumas to major University-based facilities with the use of its heliport.
LV Stabler Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department is also supported by a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week complete diagnostic services team including full laboratory and radiology services.

The ER+ Goal
The ER+ goal is for you to have access 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week, to qualified physicians who take the time to listen to what you have to say. You will be greeted warmly by nurses who are truly compassionate and a registration staff that understands that people come before paperwork.
Our team of trained physicians, nurses and technicians are able to provide fast, quality care. They will listen to you, examine you carefully and prescribe a treatment plan that you will understand and believe in.
